Two weeks in to October, it’s already been a wild month for Star Wars comics. The Dark Droids comic crossover event continues to dominate Marvel’s recent Star Wars releases — for good reasons. But there’s a little something for everyone this month, whether you’re a HIgh Republic fan or prefer other casts of characters to greet you on Wednesday mornings.

Here’s what you’ll be able to pick up from your local comics shop this week — or download to your tablet, if you prefer the digital route. Why not both?

Dark Droids 3

Written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Luke Ross and Alex Sinclair, and published by Marvel Comics, Dark Droids 3 continues the ongoing Star Wars comic event featuring a mysterious dark intelligence overtaking droids across the galaxy. But this issue features the one and only Darth Vader, so it’s bound to be a hit.

The Mandalorian Season 2 5

Written by Rodney Barnes, illustrated by Georges Jeanty, Karl Story, and Rachelle Rosenberg, and published by Marvel Comics, The Mandalorian Season 2 5 is a comic adaption of The Mandalorian Season 2 “Chapter 13: The Jedi.” Which means fan-favorite Force-wielder Ahsoka Tano is already back in our hearts, for one comic issue at least, despite her show just having ended earlier in the month.

Each of these comic issues are available today wherever you get your Star Wars comics. You can usually find new Star Wars comics at your local shops or online if you want your new issues as soon as they become available each week.
