Galaxy of Heroes: How to beat Vader and Palpatine in Conquest

If you’re breezing through your Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes Conquest event and suddenly find yourself stuck in a boss battle, seemingly with no way out — there is definitely a way out. You just have to slow down and look around.

When you encounter the specific battle with Darth Vader and Palpatine at the end of a section, don’t hit the usual button to automatically speed through it or you’ll miss the only way to emerge victorious from the battle and the section.

The objective of this battle, unlike most you will encounter in the game, isn’t actually to defeat your opponents — in fact, doing so is technically impossible. If you just keep hitting them without taking any other actions, that is.

The goal, instead, is to last long enough for the real end result — to have Vader save you and destroy Palpatine, just like at the end of Return of the Jedi.

You’ll notice that there’s a special action available all the way to the right when your Leader takes a turn, with a countdown over it. Keep taking turns and keep your leader alive until that countdown runs out, and you’ll be able to ask Vader to save you, deeming you victorious.

Whenever you encounter a battle like this — where a character left standing just won’t seem to bow down to your power — there is probably a special action specific to that event that you need to look out for.

Now you know for future reference (and yes, I sure didn’t know when this happened to me for the first time). I’ve passed on what I’ve learned. I hope it helps!
