During the New York Comic-Con 2023 Lucasfilm Publishing panel, it was announced a new lightsaber was coming later this year! It’s the crossguard lightsaber of the High Republic character Stellan Gios. Lucasfilm Publishing creative director Michael Siglain showcased the Jedi Master’s blade during the panel.

StarWars.com shared the details that the special edition Stellan Gios FX lightsaber is the first from the High Republic era to come to shopDisney, Disneyland resort, and Walt Disney World. It arrives globally in the fall and will be limited to only 5,000 sold.

Friends of the Force podcast attended the panel, live tweeting out the first look at this exciting new merchandise, as well as an up-close look at the lightsaber hilt:

High Republic fans reacted in excitement. Stellan Gios is a fan-favorite character, and his lightsaber has always been by far the most prominently promoted blade as part of the publishing initiative.
