Boba Fett actor Temuera Morrison is coming to FAN EXPO San Francisco
By Meg Dowell
A longtime Star Wars actor is heading to FAN EXPO San Francisco next month, and you’re not going to want to miss out on the fun.
Temuera Morrison, who first appeared in the Star Wars franchise back in 2002 during the prequels, has been a beloved part of a galaxy far, far away for over two decades now. You can catch him and other celebrity guests at the upcoming convention.
Morrison originally portrayed bounty hunter Jango Fett in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. He returned to Star Wars to portray Boba Fett in The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+, and even briefly appeared in the limited Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
At Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022, Morrison joined other actors from Attack of the Clones on a panel to celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary, and it was clear then that he would be happy to return to the small or big screen to be part of Star Wars again. That same weekend, he appeared in Obi-Wan Kenobi as a decommissioned clone trooper.
While it isn’t clear if and when the actor will make another Star Wars appearance anytime soon, fans will get the chance to see him in person along with many others scheduled to attend northern California’s fan expo the final weekend in November.
FAN EXPO San Francisco is a fan convention celebrating comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, gaming, and cosplay.
Ewan McGregor, Mark Hamill, and other celebrities well-known in the Star Wars fandom will also be attending the convention, which lands shortly after the Thanksgiving holiday.
FAN EXPO San Francisco runs from Friday, November 24 through Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Moscone Center West.
