Fans of Star Wars comics — as well as those who are considering getting into these comics for the first time — certainly don’t lack options when it comes to choosing what to read next (or first).
Don’t let this week’s lighter release load fool you — there’s plenty coming up in comics in the month of November, don’t worry. For now, let’s focus on the story about to unfold in this week’s mainline comic issue.
Star Wars (2020) 40
Written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Madibek Musabekov, and published by Marvel Comics, this issue of Marvel’s mainline Star Wars comic is another tie-in to the ongoing Dark Droids Marvel comic event. Lobot is missing, and Lando Calrissian — despite not being on great terms with the Rebel Alliance — has no choice but to go to them for help.
There have been other recent Dark Droids tie-ins, so if you’re going to read this one, you might want to consider going back a bit to read those before flipping through this one.
The 2020 Star Wars main comic line, which released its first issue on January 1 of that year, is written by Charles Soule and features many of the main heroes of the franchise. This run of the comic takes place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
This comic issue is available today wherever you get your Star Wars comics. You can usually find new Star Wars comics at your local shops or online if you want your new issues as soon as they become available each week.
