IG-12 and Grogu — a pair from The Mandalorian Season 3 that no one saw coming but many fell in love with nonetheless — have officially landed in the Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes lineup.

The “Metal Mediator” Marquee Event — which runs from now through November 23 — gives players of the game the chance to add the duo (or is it really just one character?) to their unstoppable squads.

As with other Marquee Events, the first few tiers of the event and their subsequent shards are fairly simple to unlock and obtain as long as you’ve unlocked characters from previous Marquee Events. The first tier, for example, requires The Mandalorian (Beskar Armor), The Armorer, Bo-Katan Kryze, and Paz Vizsla in addition to the new character.

The second tier, in addition to IG-12 and Grogu, requires The Mandalorian (Beskar Armor), Paz Vizsla, Dash Rendar, and L3-37.

The IG-12 and Grogu character is Light Side-aligned, a Healer, and a Mandalorian. So add this to your Mandalorian Galaxy of Heroes teams once you get fully leveled up.

Right now, completing the final tier of the event requires purchasing a Guardian Mech Pack or Guardian Mech Bundle with “real” currency, crystals, or both. But once the event ends and another is set to take its place, the game will provide alternative ways to gain character shards to ideally complete the final event tier when it comes back around later.

This Marquee Event is another in the lead-up to the forthcoming Bo-Katan (Mand’alor) Epic Confrontation event, which will require several handfuls of different characters — likely including IG-12 and Grogu — in order to complete in full.
