A brand-new month of Star Wars comics has arrived, and Star Wars fans of all backgrounds will have something to enjoy this week.
In addition to the grand return of The High Republic Adventures, more Dark Droids tie-ins are available to keep you entertained while you’re waiting for even more comics to arrive next week. Here’s a quick look at what’s available to read today.
Dark Droids: D-Squad 4
Written by Marc Guggenheim, illustrated by Salva Espín and Israel Silva, and published by Marvel Comics, Dark Droids: D-Squad 4 is the fourth issue of the spinoff miniseries connected to Marvel’s larger Dark Droids comic event. The squad is headed to Jabba’s Palace and may encounter a familiar torture droid while completing their mission.
The High Republic Adventures (2023) 1
The High Republic Adventures is back! Written by Daniel José Older, illustrated by Harvey Tolibao and Michael Atiyeh, and published by Dark Horse Comics, The High Republic Adventures (2023) 1 is the first issue of the Phase III installment of the series. One year after the fall of Starlight Beacon, many Padawans are still missing. Zeen and Qort may be the only hope they have left to be found.
Star Wars (2020) 41
Written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Madibek Musabekov and Rachelle Rosenberg, and published by Marvel Comics, the 41st issue of the ongoing Star Wars (2020) series is another Dark Droids tie-in featuring Lando Calrissian on the search for Lobot. It’s recommended you read previous tie-in issues to follow this storyline before diving into this one.
These comic issues are available today wherever you get your Star Wars comics. You can usually find new Star Wars comics at your local shops or online if you want your new issues as soon as they become available each week.
