Seasons of the Force and new Star Tours coming to Disneyland

Disneyland Park in California is getting a series of special additions next year for a limited time, adding extra excitement for 2024’s Star Wars Day. It was announced on StarWars.com that Seasons of the Force is returning, new destinations for Star Tours – The Adventures Continues, and other surprises are coming for the park.

Starting with the first announcement, which will run from April 5 – June 2, 2024, Seasons of the Force is back! This event was first held in 2015 in celebration of the release of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. The latest version of this event sees the return of the popular attraction Space Mountain, which is once again being turned into Hyperspace Mountain. According to StarWars.com, there will also be “specially themed food and beverage, merchandise, and more.”

Past Seasons of the Force had special exhibits like a Path of the Jedi montage from the Star Wars films and the Star Wars Launch Bay, showcasing exhibits and memorabilia. It’s unknown at this time if the upcoming Seasons of the Force will have similar events.

Seasons of the Force will be around for Star Wars Day in 2024. It’s unknown at this time if extra goodies will be added for the holiday.

New Additions are Coming For Fan Favorite Attractions

The other announcement is new locations will be added to Star Tours – The Adventures Continues. The ever-popular ride has guests join RX-24 on an adventure through possible scenarios, from escaping Darth Vader to fighting the First Order, soaring through the forests of Kashyyyk, spotting Mon Mothma, and more.

The final announcement was for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which featured a new fireworks show. The release said the latest show would “provide fresh perspective on the fireworks above Disneyland Park, with galactic music sweeping through the spires.”

One thing to note is these changes are only for Disneyland Park in California. There have been no announcements for Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or any of the parks around the world at this time.

Seasons of the Force returns in 2024. You can catch these attractions from April 5 – June 2, 2024.
