3 new LEGO Star Wars holiday shorts are here to cheer you up

Star Wars and LEGO fans now have even more ways to celebrate the holidays this year — three new ways, to be exact.

Announced on StarWars.com, Lucasfilm once again partnered with The LEGO Group to bring fans short and fun animated, holiday-themed shorts. Much like LEGO Star Wars specials and series that have come before, some of your favorite Star Wars characters feature as LEGO figures in these new episodes.

Here’s more about each new LEGO Star Wars short below.

“Chewie’s Holiday Cheer Up”

In this heartwarming episode, even though Chewie is far from home and away from his family as Life Day approaches, his fellow rebels are going to make sure he still experiences all the holiday cheer he deserves. Sometimes, it’s not about where you are that makes the holidays special — it’s about who’s celebrating them with you.

“Tenoo Treasures”

There’s something in these new shorts for fans of every age. Young Jedi Adventures debuted in 2023 and introduced younglings Kai and Lys into Star Wars canon for the first time. This short features these characters working with Master Yoda to learn important lessons — and spread some holiday cheer along the way.

“’Twas the Night Before Life Day”

LEGO Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine have become somewhat legendary in the Star Wars LEGO universe over recent years, so it’s only fitting that the two would show up in one of these shorts — at a holiday party, no less. No one can rock an ugly holiday sweater better than Vader, and that’s an absolute fact.

All three of these LEGO Star Wars holiday shorts are available to stream now, as is the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special and other short holiday-themed LEGO Star Wars adventures.
