New Star Wars: Unlimited set coming this November
By Meg Dowell
If you have ever wanted to play as General Grievous in Star Wars: Unlimited, you're in luck! He is just one of a handful of new characters coming to the game starting next month.
Grievous, Ahsoka Tano, and Anakin Skywalker are among the new character cards releasing as a new game set called "Twilight of the Republic," representing the conflict between the Separatists and the Galactic Republic during the time of the Clone Wars.
Star Wars: Unlimited is a Star Wars-themed trading card game that allows players to battle one another across the galaxy with cards featuring their favorite characters and eras from a galaxy far, far away.
Packs of Star Wars: Unlimited cards contain 16 cards, each containing a rare or legendary card. The more packs you buy, the better your chances of collecting all the characters you know and love. This also means that you can battle your friends using the game's how to play guide.
If the Galactic Republic era isn't your forte, don't worry -- there are plenty of other Unlimited sets to choose from. There are currently two other additional sets featuring fan-favorite Star Wars characters: Spark of Rebellion and Shadows of the Galaxy. While Spark of Rebellion tackles the Galactic Civil War, Shadows of the Galaxy focuses on smugglers, scoundrels, and scavengers. And there are likely even more future sets to come!
Star Wars: Unlimited is a great game for Star Wars fans of all ages. You don't need screens, batteries, or a working outlet to play it. Just grab your cards, a flat surface, and a set of rules so you can familiarize yourself with the gameplay. Once you get the hang of it, you can teach everyone else you know how it works -- and that creates hours of endless fun for all.
