Disney's Star Tours – The Adventures Continue ride is about to make a major change! WDWNT reports that this April, the live-action Star Wars television characters will begin appearing during the exciting flight. This change will occur across three parks with the famous ride: Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, and Disneyland Paris.

As these new characters from Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian join the attraction, there will be more than 250 story variations for visitors to enjoy. The first teaser for the updated experience features a journey to Peridea alongside the purrgil, a wonderful callback to a similar adventure in Ahsoka.

In addition to the promotional video, Disney has released images teasing the updates. These pictures do not give much information as to what guests can expect. While it seems clear that visitors will see or hear from characters like Grogu and Cassian Andor, many of the new characters and locations are still unknown. Can we expect assistance from Bo-Katan? Will we need to evade Grand Admiral Thrawn? Will we fly over Ferrix? It may take until April 5th to find out.

The last major changes to the ride occurred with each new sequel trilogy movie, as scenarios related to each move were added in 2015, 2017, and 2019. Fans explored the mineral planet from The Last Jedi and the ocean planet from The Rise of Skywalker, interacting with Kylo Ren and Rey, among other sequel characters.

Unlike the original Star Tours ride, The Adventures Continue includes locations and characters from all 9 Skywalker Saga films. These new additions will likely not change the ride's standardized story much. There will still be a Rebel spy to save from the Star Wars villains, but the new stories and destinations will make the ride feel fresh and exciting.

As the Star Wars universe continues to evolve, it is exciting that rides like Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will change along with it. These updates are one more reason to find your way back to Disney and experience the adventure for yourself.
