Star Wars has taken over the Empire State Building! The Chosen One, Hayden Christensen, was in New York on Thursday, March 21, for a light show celebrating Star Wars.

As part of the building's campaign, a screening of Star Wars: Episode V—The Empire Strikes Back will be held today. Hayden expressed his excitement at being invited to the event and said that he was honored to represent the franchise that "has been a very important part of my life." He added, "It's a real pleasure to get to be here and see this amazing show that they're going to put on."

Hayden was on hand for the light show later on in the evening, and you can watch a video of his reaction to seeing himself as Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader projected off the building:

Hayden, who looks mesmerized by the dazzling display, can be heard saying, "That's cool!" to a shot of himself in Anakin's The Clone Wars armor from Ahsoka, and "I know that guy," to a glimpse of Anakin Skywalker walking up the steps of the Jedi Temple during Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

In case you may have missed it, the complete video of the unforgettable Star Wars-themed light show is also available on the Official Star Wars YouTube Channel. The light show features iconic characters from the franchise, such as Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Maul, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Chewie, and is set to the theme of the "Imperial March."
