A spectacularly spooky Halloween-themed animated LEGO short film called Jabba’s Halloween Bash has been uploaded to the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel, getting fans young and old immediately into the Halloween spirit. This really is a short film for everyone, no doubt leaving people of all ages smiling.

In the ninety-second short film, Boba Fett is shown arriving at Jabba the Hutt’s sail barge on Tatooine, where a Halloween party is in full swing. However, the party soon gets cut short when Darth Vader seemingly arrives to crash the festivities. Things then become even more outrageous when a second Darth Vader then shows up to argue with his apparent impersonator. As with many LEGO animated shorts, Jabba’s Halloween Bash features no dialogue and instead relies on its visuals to tell the story, a process which, as many LEGO fans will tell you, always proves to be highly effective.

One of the highlights of Jabba’s Halloween Bash was a moment in which Boba Fett used his blaster to shoot a creepy face into a pumpkin, which was both impressive and hilarious at the same time. Best of all, many other minifigure incarnations of familiar characters, including Dengar, Salacious B. Crumb, and Max Rebo, make appearances in the film, and fans will have a great time spotting all their favorite heroes and villains.

It was also hysterical to witness Jabba’s terrified reaction to seeing Darth Vader showing up at his Halloween bash, as the Hutt crime Lord had clearly not expected a Sith Lord to arrive at his social gathering. And the ending showcases Bib Fortuna dangling above the Great Pit of Carkoon, with the ravenous Sarlacc attempting to snatch him up, which was certainly a dark and memorable way to conclude the story.

With Halloween just around the corner, fans will no doubt be thrilled to see such a delightful new Star Wars short which focuses on the spooky holiday. Despite its short runtime, Jabba’s Halloween Bash is undoubtedly a fun and hilarious new LEGO Star Wars adventure which fans definitely cannot afford to miss.
