Iron Studios dazzles with new Chewbacca AT-ST statue

Calling all statue collectors! This one is going to get a bit hairy.

Iron Studios just revealed their latest Star Wars statue, and it's a beaut. Featuring a fan-favorite original trilogy character, the "AT-ST and Chewbacca - Star Wars - Demi Art Scale 1/20" depicts the Wookiee riding an AT-ST at the Battle of Endor from Return of the Jedi. The showstopper piece isn't cheap, though. Be ready to shell out $849.99! Preorders are now open on the Iron Studios website with release and arrival expected in 2025.

Via Bleeding Cool, the "AT-ST and Chewbacca - Star Wars - Demi Art Scale 1/20" statue stands at a whopping 20.8" tall with a swappable hatch to either show a closed vehicle or if you wish to display Chewbacca. Part of the diorama gives the piece its Endor look, with rough terrain under the Walker's feet. The AT-ST has been meticulously recreated from the film, with tiny details expertly crafted down to the bolts.

By far my favorite part are the additional characters beside Chewbacca. On one side is a brave Ewok, notching its bow and aiming at an unseen villain. On the other is a delightful scene. There is an Ewok on the back of a stormtrooper, and the little dude is about to clock the heck out of the bad guy with his axe. It's a hilarious little addition that really makes the "AT-ST and Chewbacca - Star Wars - Demi Art Scale 1/20" special.

Chewbacca himself has quite a few nice little details. This fur is intricately sculpted. His little teeth show off the warrior's mighty roar! Across his chest is his ever-hardy dandy bandolier. The Iron Studios website shares about the statue's creation, "Materials and finishing of the piece: Just like all the other statues manufactured by Iron Studios, the statue AT-ST and Chewbacca - Star Wars - Demi Art Scale 1/20 is made with high-quality materials such as Polystone and may contain parts in resin, PVC, metal, and fabric.
