Young Jedi Advutures first episode “The Young Jedi” opens on Coruscant with Jedi Master Yoda speaking to a group of Jedi younglings and their teachers. These children will be sent to temple outposts to grow, explore, and learn more about the Force while on location.

As they’re dismissed, Master Zia Zanna looks for the younglings to go to her temple on Tenoo. Three are missing: Lys Solay, Nubs, and Kai Brightstar.

The three younglings are in the lightsaber training room. On the other side is the beacon they need to snag to beat their all-time record. They want to do this before they leave for Tenoo. Lys pulls the training droids’ fire while Nubs Force pushes Kai towards the beacon. However, Kai decides to take on all the droids himself, ignoring his friends wanting to help.

But oh no! Kai trips and drops his lightsaber! Lys and Nubs spring into action to protect him because that’s what friends are for. Kai doesn’t have to do everything on his own. Together, the younglings defend against the droids and nab the beacon. They successfully break their personal records!

Master Zia calls in, telling them to hurry. Their shuttles are leaving for Tenoo are leaving. She will meet them when they arrive on the planet.

In the hanger, the person in charge of the shuttle is a girl named Nash Durango and her droid RJ-83. They’re complete fixing their shuttle just as the younglings arrive. The Jedi are surprised their pilot is a kid like them, but Nash points out they’re all kids too! The group introduce themselves and she shows off her ship, the Crimson Firehawk. Nash explains her parents gave her the ship, and her family runs a shuttle company transporting anything around the galaxy.

They board the ship and head out for Tenoo.

While in hyperspace, Nash shows them around the ship. In the back is a fuzzy Gedonian Ground Weevil in a box named Giggs, who is being transported to an animal preserve. Lys, who is wonderful with animals, picks it up and pets the little animal.

Kai gets excited seeing the hologame table that Nash has. As Jedi, they didn’t get to play too many at the temple. When Nash asks what the Jedi do, Kai explains how they train to become Jedi Knights and train in the Force. Nash wants to see them move things with their brains. Lys says they could do that, but it takes energy, concentration, and practice. The Force isn’t something to use like a party trick.

RJ tells them they’re arriving, and the ship drops out of hyperspace over Tenoo, the new home for the younglings. Before they can head into land, Nash gets a call from her friend, Hap. There are a group of pirates attacking his café and he needs help!

He was hoping that Nash could bring the Jedi she’s transporting to help. Though, he gets disheartened when he sees these Jedi are children. Kai declares they can still help! That’s what Jedi do!

In the city of Kublop Springs on Tenoo, the pirate Taborr Val Dorn and his crew of EB-3 and Pord march into Hap’s café called Hap’s Sap Tap which is built into a giant tree. Taborr loves being a pirate and taking whatever he wants.

Nash lands nearby and gives the Jedi a comm if they need help. With that, they head out to stop Taborr!

Who is just about ready to leave with all of Hap’s stuff. Kai commands Taborr to give it back, which makes the pirate laugh. He’s not going to listen to some Jedi! Telling his crew to get the stuff to his ship, Taborr pulls out his electro staff to fight the younglings. It’s Kai vs Taborr while Lys and Nubs focus on stopping EB and Pord with Hap’s things.

It’s a harrowing battle. Taborr plays dirty, pulling the massive tree branches to crush the café. Kai uses the Force, but the branches are too heavy! Lys and Nubs jump into to help! Together, the three lower the branches to safety and save Hap’s café!

It looks like Taborr is going to get away with Hap’s things, but Kai has a plan! He calls in their backup with their new friends.

Nash swoops in while RJ connects a cable to the cart of stuff to try and snatch it back. Pord and EB yank the cart back, stopping RJ. It was just enough of a distraction! The youngling have caught up!

Nash and Kai pull off the same move they did to beat their record at the Jedi Temple. Only this time, Kai has his friends to back him up.

Taborr is furious at losing his score. He swears he’s going to get back at the Jedi before fleeing with his crew.

With the excitement over, Nash finally takes the younglings to their new home at the Tenoo Jedi Temple. Master Zia greets them, and she’s incredibly proud of how they protected the town. She welcomes the younglings, Nash, and RJ to the temple.
