The first season of Young Jedi Adventures was a delightful surprise essentially becoming the Bluey of Star Wars. This preschool series set during The High Republic era quickly found a fan following. It wasn't just successful from a fan perspective either, as the show has already won two Emmys. With the success of the show, will we get a second season? Thanks to a bit of sleuthing, it might be already in the works!

Storyboard artist Christina Mijares-Doung shared on May 21 a post on Twitter, stating, "I just sat in on a Zoom VA recording session, for a super FAVORITE ACTOR OF MINE AND I COULDN'T STOP SMILING ALL THROUGHOUT THE MEETING." On the surface, this wouldn't seem like a big deal. However, the follow-up a few days later is where it gets more interesting.

The following day, Mijares-Doung shared a cute piece of artwork along with a message about what she was talking about. In this tweet, it seems to confirm that Young Jedi Adventures is in the works. It said, "OK, I'm allowed to say it: I had the amazing chance to sit in on a HALEY JOEL OSMENT Zoom recording session yesterday for our show Young Jedi Adventures! I just had to draw this for my co-workers, of his character, Raxlo (and my favorite running joke between him and Nubs)"

This seems like a confirmation to me! And boy, am I excited! Raxlo is one of my absolute favorite characters from the series. He's a huge inspiration to me, and I feared that we might not see more of him after his character arc in Season 1. I can't wait to see what this capitalism-loving trash bird man will get up to next!

As always, until there is an official announcecment, take this with a grain of salt. The world of streaming services is a scary place, especially when it comes to animation these days. However, Young Jedi Adventures is such a gem of a series to the point where it's blowing its fellow Star Wars shows out of the water in some ways. It seems right that it'll get another outing.
