Fans of Lucasfilm Animation, the wait is over. The third and final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch is here. After the cliffhanger of Season 2 where the villainous Doctor Royce Hemlock captured Omega, it’s only a matter of time before Hunter, Wrecker, Echo, and their allies find their sister.
However, if the Season 3 trailer is any indication, it’s not going to be an easy task. We’ve seen the return of the above mentioned Hemlock, peeks at Emperor Palpatine, and the bounty hunters Fennec Shand and Cad Bane all making their return.
This doesn’t mean the Bad Batch are alone. The always fan favorite, Captain Rex, is here to help along with Phee Genoa. Perhaps their once ally-turned-snitch Cid will have a change of heart to come to the aid of the clones. Hey, she is a scoundrel type like Lando Calrissian. She could be the big hero of the season for all we know!
There are also peeks at other characters too. Commander Wolffe popped up in the Season 3 trailer. We know that he survives to the events of Star Wars Rebels, so perhaps we’ll see this season how Wolffe escapes the Empire to join up with his clone brothers. It’s going to be an exciting season.
