The first episode of Season 3 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch set the stage for the end of the show. With Omega, played by Michelle Ang, and Crosshair, played by the incomparable Dee Bradley Baker, captured by the evil Doctor Royce Hemlock, a sinister performance from Jimmi Simpson, it’s a race against time to save them.
Don’t worry because Hunter, Wrecker, and Echo aren’t giving up on their brother and sister. They have allies on their side, like Phee Genoa (Wanda Sykes), to help them out. Maybe the ally-turned-scoundrel Cid (Rhea Perlman) will have a change of heart and come to their aid.
It won’t be easy though, because the Empire won’t let go of their “assets” so easily. Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) is clearly setting up for the events of the sequel trilogy with heavy investment in cloning himself, as we have also seen in The Mandalorian. As we saw in the Season 3 trailer, the bounty hunter Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) and Cad Bane (Corey Burton) are again in play.
We’ll have to wait and see how the third and final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch works out. Check out the trailer below.
