After a few quiet weeks in the world of Star Wars comics, May is going out with a slice, bang, and some feel good all ages comics (that last one was a joke. We all know that The High Republic is nothing but pain, even in the kids comics).

So to wrap up May 2024, let's take a look at everything coming out This Week in Star Wars Comics!

Darth Maul - Black, White & Red #2

The Black, White & Red series continues with Darth Maul, with each issue having a new story, writer, and artist. This month's entry finds the Sith lord at the Moonbender colony. A mysterious group called The Remainders threatens Emperor Palpatine's rule. However, this group is fierce, putting the Sith apprentice in a fight for his life! Darth Maul - Black, White & Red #2 is written by Mark Russell, the artist is Carlos Nieto, and the cover artist is Tyler Kirkham.

Jango Fett #3

A planet on the verge of war, and the only person who can stop it is Jango Fett! If this mission is to succeed and stop chaos from spreading, the Senate from collapsing, and lives to be saved, Jango must face off against a rival: Aurra Sing. However, this rivalry is tested when an unsuspecting alliance is revealed to throw the whole mission off. Will Jango save the artifact The Hope of Glee Anselm and stop a war?

Jango Fett #3 is written by Ethan Sacks, the illustrator is Luke ross, and the cover artis is Leinil Francis Yu.

The High Republic Adventures 6

After five issues of pain, stress, and me checking to make sure that yes, this is supposed to be a kids comic, The High Republic Adventures gives fans a break with issue #6. Friends are finally reunited after a year of worry and wondering if they survived. There are still the dangers of the Nihil lurking out in the galaxy, but for now, our heroes have a moment of peace.

The High Republic Adventures #6 is written by Daniel José Older, and the illustrator and cover artist is Harvey Tolibao.

The High Republic Adventures – Saber for Hire #2

Ty Yorrick has a lot on her plate right now. The ex-Jedi turned saber for hire was making the best money until she found out the Nihil are taking Force sensitive children. Her apprentice, Drewen (who is NOT a padawan and if she has to tell him again, so help the Force...), has discovered the Chancellor's missing son is also the target of these villains. What is Ty going to do?

Go begrudgingly be a hero, of course!

The High Republic Adventures - Saber for Hire #2 is written by Cavan Scott, and the illustrator and cover artist is Rachael Stott.

And that's it for the month of May! June is going to be another busy month so keep checking back each Wednesday for another addition of This Week in Star Wars Comics!
