Holy Force flinging, Batman! It's the busiest week of the month! This week in Star Wars comics has a little bit of everything, including a new trade paperback coming out on Tuesday. Let's dive into it!

Jango Fett #1

The new series debuting this week is Jango Fett #1 from Ethan Sacks, illustrated by Luke Ross, and the cover artist is Leinil Francis Yu. Kicking off the 4-issue miniseries, Jango is on the hunt for an item at the center of a planetwide war. Along the way, he'll face off against rivals like Aurra Sing, solve a mystery, and put a treaty at risk.

Star Wars: The High Republic #5

Jedi Master Keeve Trennis has bent any rules she could to find someone she thought was lost. After all of her strife, she is once again reunited with her master, Sskeer, who was initially thought to be dead. But after the fall of Starlight Beacon, is Sskeer even the same man anymore? The writer is Cavan Scott, the illustrators are Ario Anindito and Marika Cresta, and the cover artist is Phil Noto.

Ario Anindito has also confirmed this is his last issue on The High Republic. As a main artist since the first run a few years ago, it's bittersweet to see him go. At least he got to bring Keeve and Sskeer's story full circle.

Visions – Takashi Okazaki #1

Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki is back with The Ronin in Visions – Takashi Okazaki #1. This one-shot comic is another entry for the Star Wars: Visions character from the first short, "The Duel." The Ronin has been featured in one-shot comics before and in the book Ronin: A Visions Novel by Emma Mieko Candon. It's a lot of fun to see some of the Star Wars: Visions shorts continue in other mediums.

Thrawn: Alliances #3

This adaptation of the Timothy Zahn novel Thrawn: Alliances continues with issue #3 as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Darth Vader continue on their journey to unravel a mystery (read this as an "Evil road trip"). Jody Houser writes the adaptation, the artwork is by Andrea Di Vito and Pat Olliffe, and the cover artist is Rod Reis.

Star Wars: Dark Droids

The trade paperback for this week is Star Wars: Dark Droids, which collects all five issues from the comic event last year. As the mysterious Scourge spreads across the galaxy, the Rebellion and the Empire face a greater threat outside of their war. No droid or cyborg is safe as it threatens allies like Lobot and villains like Darth Vader. This horror-inspired comic event comes out in trade paperback on March 26.

That's it this week in Star Wars comics! Check back every Wednesday to see what is happening in between the splash pages in a galaxy far, far away.
