After quite a busy time last week with three different release dates for books over the course of seven days, this week in Star Wars comics is a lot more relaxing. There are only two titles out this weeks which is a nice breather. That doesn't mean they're not great as we take a trip to (burn down) Exegol and trek behind the stormwall in The High Republic era. Let's check out the two new issues out this week.

Star Wars: Darth Vader #46

All of Emperor Palpatine's secrets are on the line as Darth Vader and his allies in the Schism Imperial assault Exegol. The beginning of a new story arc called The Razing of Exegol sees the Sith Lord looking to uncover and destroy his mater's secrets. But can this group overcome the dangerous Sith Citadel? Darth Vader #46 is written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Raffaele Ienco with Leinil Francis Yu as the cover artist.

Star Wars: The High Republic #7

Things are... fine for Jedi Master Keeve Trennis. They're not great. Her team is still stuck behind the deadly Nihil stormwall that imprisons a chunk of the Outer Rim. But at least she's found her missing master, Sskeer, and they've been joined by rogue Force user Tey Sirrek. However, the mysterious Force sensitive little girl that Sskeer was protecting has more deadly abilities than before thought. And with the Nihil stealing Force sensitive children like her, the group isn't out of danger yet. Star Wars: The High Republic #7 is written by Cavan Scott, and it's illustrated by Marika Cresta with Phil Noto as the cover artist.

And that's it for this week in Star Wars comics. Though, something to keep in mind if you're a variant cover collector, there are special covers for The Phantom Menace in celebration of the 25th anniversary this month.

See you next time!
