Darth Vader
Darth Vader is a fan favorite, and The Dark Side Collection makes sure to give him plenty of love. Along with diving into the deeper motivations of the villain, the issue explores the creation of his iconic armor along with his return in Obi-Wan Kenobi. There are also interviews, including with Matt Lanter, the voice of Anakin Skywalker in The Clone Wars.
Emperor Palpatine
Ian McDiarmid joins the issue talking about Palpatine's return in The Rise of Skywalker. This edition will look into the Sith Lord's long game of how he was able to take over the galaxy.
Darth Maul
Sam Witwer and Ray Park join The Dark Side Collection to break down the devious Darth Maul in both his live action and animated versions. They're not the only creators that get to be part of this! Writer Cullen Bunn sits down to discuss the process of bringing Maul to the splash pages in the 2017 comic book Darth Maul.
Kylo Ren
The classic dark siders aren't the only ones featured. The collector's edition details Kylo Ren's deadly rise to power in the sequel trilogy. Like his grandfather before him, The Dark Side Collection also looks into his return to the light. It also features an interview with Adam Driver talking about his performance.
Asajj Ventress
The boys aren't the only ones who get to have all the fun. We spend some time with the Sith assassin, Asajj Ventress, from her time as a deadly menace to walking away from that life to become an anti-hero. Her voice actor, Nika Futterman, joins The Dark Side Collection in an interview discussing her time voicing Ventress in animation.
From learning the language of the Sith to an archived interview with Christopher Lee about his role as Count Dooku, Star Wars Insider Presents The Dark Side Collection is not one for villain lovers to miss. All this and more is now available in the US and UK, wherever you get your magazines.
