Young Jedi Adventures episode "Attack of the Training Droids" opens on the Jedi temple on Tenoo, where our favorite Jedi younglings are practicing their lightsaber skills against a training droid. Their goal is to hit the beacon on top of the bot before a timer goes off. Jedi Masters Yoda and Zia Zanna look on the practice session.

Each of the younglings fails in their separate attempts. Lys Solay suggests waiting for an opening, but Kai Brightstar doesn't think there is enough time. So he will make an opening! Rushing in without thinking, Kai fumbles, taking out Lys and Nubs with him. The time goes off, and they have failed the training.

Yoda tells them it's not about how fast they can perform a task. He decides to show them, handing his gimer stick to Zia. He waits for the droid to attack him, pulling his lightsaber to fight back. The kids are ecstatic to see Yoda in action. With some patience, Yoda easily gets the beacon.

However, he and Master Zia aren't staying, as they have other business to attend to. She gives the Younglings a task to clean the training area before the masters return that night.

After the Masters depart, Kai wants to practice more with the training droid so Yoda can see them defeat it that night. Lys isn't sure this is a great idea, as they're supposed to be cleaning which can take all day. Kai sees the training droid returning to its charging hub, where there are two other droids laying in wait.

He gets the idea that they could get the droids to help them clean, which would free up their afternoon to practice. Nubs and Lys aren't so enthusiastic about this plan, especially since training droids aren't made for cleaning. Kai decides to reset them to teach them how to clean. After hitting a few buttons and showing the droids how to pick up around the arena by stacking items, he steps back to see his handy work in action!

And the droids seem to understand what to do. Within just a few minutes, the entire arena is cleaned up. However, the droids aren't done yet. They focus on the Jedi Temple, which looks like a stack of blocks which is what they were cleaning in the arena, and ZOOM off into mischief to find messes in the temple!

The droids split up, piling up whatever they can find just as Kai showed them. Only, this is everything from towels to cafeteria trays. There is one thing for our heroes to do:

Kai, Lys, and Nubs must split up too to take on the droids!

Each of the younglings struggles with capturing their respective droid, as other Jedi students around the temple are noticing and getting caught up in the chaos. They do get the three droids cornered which gives the Younglings a moment to think.

They call their pilot friend, Nash Durango, to get some advice and she agrees to fly over. Immediately upon arrival, the training droids see some junk on her ship, the Firehawk, and zips to clean it! As they are stacking different items, the droids see in the distance the town of Kublop Springs which has so much stuff for them to clean up.

Kai exclaims this is all his fault, as he tried to do things way too fast. As they chase the droids, Nash bumps into one of their stacks. This makes the droid stop to clean it, which, in turn, gives Kai an idea.

The kids begin to make a series of messes, leading the droids back into the training arena. Kai has a plan to now catch the droids and turn them off, which requires a little bit of patience.

Through a series of different tactics from using Nash's droid RJ-83 as a decoy to dropping pillows for the droids to stack, the Jedi are able to sneak up behind the training droids and hit their power switches one by one.

As they're celebrating, a voice cuts in.

Masters Yoda and Zia have returned early to find the area is a mess again thanks to the antics of trying to catch the training droids. Kai apologizes because he didn't take his time to do things the right way. Which is why they now take the time to clean up the area the correct way.

To reward them, Yoda shows them how he got the beacon. The four work together as a team and, with a little patience, beat the training droid. This is where Young Jedi Adventures' "Attack of the Training Droids" comes to an end.
