This Week in Star Wars Comics was late because, honestly, what is there to write about? I'll still do my due diligence to make sure the single comic issue released gets its little bit of spotlight, but you'll see it's not a very exciting entry. So, let's look ahead to next month with the return of Doctor Aphra.
This Week in Star Wars Comics is The Rise of Skywalker Adaptation #4!
The Rise of Skywalker Adaptation #4
In its favor, The Rise of Skywalker Adaptation has been one of the better adaptations, with its bonus scenes and extra content that's been lacking from these kinds of comic books. It's still an adaptation, though. If you have seen The Rise of Skywalker, then you know this comic.
The Rise of Skywalker Adaptation #4 is written by Jody Houser, the illustrator is Will Sliney, and the cover artist is Phil Noto.
Star Wars Comics in June 2025
Since that's it for this week's comics, let's peek ahead to some of the big books coming out in June. The first one is the new series Doctor Aphra - Chaos Agent, which sees the return of everyone's favorite morally grey archeologist. This time, she's teaming up with Luke Skywalker in a post-Return of the Jedi series.
A few other standouts are The High Republic Adventures #19, which is the penultimate issue of that run, bringing the climactic Battle of Eriadu to a close. Who will live and die in that issue? Jedi Knights #4 is a prequel trilogy fan's dream with Qui-Gon Jinn and Shaak Ti teaming up to search for Jango Fett. Over in Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch Ghost Agents #4, Clone Force 99 faces off against fan favorite Asajj Ventress. It's going to be a fun month!
That's it for This Week in Star Wars Comics! See you in the splash pages!
