Battle of Jakku — Insurgency Rising #3

The Battle for Jakku continues in Insurgence Rising #3. The Imperial warlord Ubrik Adelhard has teamed up with a the leader of the Acolytes of the Beyond, Reyna Oskure, for a deadly combination. Only who is actually in charge? Their threat pushes the newly formed New Republic and a team led by Kes Dameron to the brink! But wait! Who is that person coming to the rescue? You'll have to read to find out!

The Battle of Jakku — Insurgency Rising #3 is written by Alex Segura and illustrated by Leonard Kirk and Jethro Morales with Phil Noto as the cover artist.

The High Republic Adventures #11

The fate of the planet Eriadu rests in the hands of the Tarkin Family. While the Jedi have allies in their circle, they're still not sure it will be enough to push back the Nihil. Padawan Ram Jomaram decides to lead a mission to get through the Occlusion Zone for help!

Daniel José Older continues to be the writer for The High Republic Adventures #11. However, there's a new illustrator joining the team! One of the creators of the indie comic Lotus Land, Caio Filipe, joins the team as the artist with Harvey Tolibao still the cover artist.

Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The New Republic Vol. 8

The one trade paperback for the week is the latest from the Star Wars Legends Epic Collection. The New Republic Vol. 8 has over 20 issues from the Extended Universe's era about the New Republic and New Jedi Order. This volume focuses on the Invasion storyline all about the Yuuzhan Vong. The cover artist for Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The New Republic Vol. 8. is Jo Chen.

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace: The 25 Year Anniversary Special Edition

While this last entry isn't a comic or a trade paperback, it is a magazine I wanted to mention at least because I think it's neat. The official magazine of a galaxy far, far away, Star Wars Insider, is releasing a special edition issue celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Phantom Menace. It's out on October 29 in the U.S., wherever you get your magazines. If you would like to dive deep into the behind-the-scenes history of Star Wars films, this would be a great addition to your collection. You can see our sneak peek of the special issue here.
