We've reached the dog days of summer, so it's a great time to stay inside and catch up on your favorite Star Wars comics! We have a little bit of everything this week, with two series coming to a close, one new ongoing series chugging along, and a throwback to some Star Wars Legends. So, let's dive in!

This Week in Star Wars Comics, we have Star Wars #3, The Bad Bad: Ghost Agents #5, and The High Republic Adventures #20.

Star Wars #3

After Luke Skywalker had a run-in with pirates attacking New Republic shipments, Han Solo picks up the trail. He's not alone, teaming up with Lando Calrissian and Beilert Valance to help an old friend. This issue will also feature flashbacks showing the forming friendship (or frenemies more like it) between Han, Lando, and Chewbacca, showcasing how these buddies learned to trust each other.

Star Wars #3 is written by Alex Segura, and Phil Noto is double duty as illustrator and cover artist.

Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents #5

It's all come down to this. Between escaping Asajj Ventress, Clone Force 99 faces off against bounty hunter Aurra Sing to get back a list of Republic spies. The entire Clone War rests on this elite group of clones. Failure could be the end of the war.

The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents #5 is the final issue of the miniseries. It' s written by Michael Moreci, illustrated by Reese Hannigan, and the cover artist is Valeria "Lux" Favoccia.

The High Republic Adventures #20

The story of the Starhopper crew years in the making comes to a close. In the wake of the Battle of Eriadu and the war with the villainous Nihil, what's next for our heroes? Will newlyweds Lula Talisola and Zeen Mrala fly off into the sunset together? How will everyone react when they find out about fan favorite--actually, we're not going to spoil Trial of the Jedi here. You'll have to read that book to find out (and check out our review for it!).

The High Republic Adventures #20 brings writer Daniel José Older's five-year-long story to an end. The illustrator is Harvey Tolibao, the colorist is Michael Atiyeh, and the cover artist is Elisa Romboli.

Star Wars Legends: The Rebellion Omnibus Vol. 3

Our one trade paperback out this week is Star Wars Legends: The Rebellion Omnibus Vol. 3. This hardback has over 40 issues in it, spinning the tales of the Rebellion as it fights against the Empire, including from the beloved series Star Wars Tales. I'm personally excited to see Tag and Bink, the farcical duo who stumble into mayhem and chaos, part of this collection!

That's it for This Week in Star Wars Comics! See you in the splash pages!
