Help Choose the Next Hasbro Star Wars Black Series Figure

It’s rare that fans get a chance to help contribute to a Star Wars character’s legacy, but that’s what Hasbro is offering in its latest promotion.
The company is letting fans choose who will be the subject of its next entry in its 6-inch Black Series line from a list of seven different options. It may not seem like this is a big deal, but these fan choice competitions often allow an overlooked character who would never get their own figurine to finally score their own collectible.
After weeks of narrowing down options, here are the final seven characters you can vote for:
- “Old Ben” Kenobi from A New Hope
- Lando Calrissian from The Empire Strikes Back
- Darth Revan, from Bioware’s Knights of the Old Republic
- Sabine Wren from Star Wars Rebels
- The Gammorean Guard from Return of the Jedi
- A Stormtrooper from The Empire Strikes Back
- General Grievous from Revenge of the Sith
The voting period is open until this Friday, July 10, when the winner will be announced at the Hasbro panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

Personally, I’m going to go with Lando, because he’s my favorite character on the roster, but I’d be just as interested in seeing a General Grievous figure or a Sabine version. What’s great about this selection is how diverse it is, with Hasbro making an effort to include characters from various time periods, mediums and factions within the Star Wars universe.
As of Sunday morning, Darth Revan is murdering the competition with nearly half of the vote. The closest contender is Sabine with 19 percent, followed by “Old Ben” Kenobi with 13 percent. It looks like the announcement of the new expansion to The Old Republic may have rekindled interest in the ancient Sith Lord.
