In an article published on Fast Company’s Co. Design, featuring interview answers from the Star Wars design director at Hasbro, Steve Evans, it was revealed that the toys we’ve seen from Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens line thus far were only pulled from the first third of the movie.

Read the quote from Co. Design’s article below.
"Matter of fact, if you thought you had seen all The Force Awakens merchandise previewed on Force Friday, think again. While dozens of new action figures were shown off, those were carefully selected to be only from the first third of the film so as to not give away anything which hasn’t been already seen in the trailers."

This begs the question: Is the footage from the first two teaser trailers and the Instagram preview also from the first third of the movie? Such a thought is mindblowing. It brings home once again the incredible realization that we’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg that is The Force Awakens.
Regarding toys inspired by the rest of the movie, Steve Evans says,
"“As we lead up to December 18, there’s a certain amount that gets released… There are certain surprises from our product line that no one knows about, that we’ll release leading up to the movie, at the movie, and beyond the movie.”"

I think we can count on some of those toys being action figures from the other two thirds of the film, including Lupita Nyong’o’s CGI character, Maz Kanata; Max von Sydow’s as yet unofficially named character; Supreme Leader Snoke; and, of course, the elusive Luke Skywalker.
