Jimmy Kimmel Live to host Star Wars: The Force Awakens special on November 23rd
If you haven’t had the chance to see Harrison Ford on Jimmy Kimmel Live — which aired on Friday October 30 — then I suggest watching the interview, because it’s absolutely fantastic. Ford was in rare form, and while he may or may not have been slightly inebriated, he certainly was delightful to say the least. Here’s one of the clips:
Ford’s appearance on the Halloween themed special of Jimmy Kimmel Live wasn’t the only bit of Star Wars: The Force Awakens news we were presented with, as the show’s host — Jimmy Kimmel — announced that on November 23, the show will host a Star Wars: The Force Awakens special, featuring the film’s director JJ Abrams, as well as new stars Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), and John Boyega (Finn), who will all will be in attendance.

Being that this special is less being aired live, less than a month away from the worldwide premiere of The Force Awakens, I would say that fans should expect something cool from Abrams or the cast. Usually a surprise guest makes their way to stage, which will delight the fans in attendance, and those watching at home. Last time the cast was together, was at D23 where Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), and Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux) joined them. Also, the film’s newest droid rolled out onstage — BB-8 — much to the delight of fans everywhere, so it will be highly interesting to see what J.J. Abrams and company have in store for everyone, so close the Episode VII’s release.
