John Boyega is Excited about Finn’s Theme in Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Star Wars: The Force Awakens stars, John Boyega and Harrison Ford were in London over the weekend, to attend the British Academy Britannia Awards, and Entertainment Tonight was there on the red carpet to interview the film’s stars. Boyega was his usual jovial self, exclaiming how exciting and cool it was to have John Williams score your own theme in The Force Awakens, and then of course the elder statesmen — Harrison Ford — was a bit more reserved, voicing quiet confidence in the film and his costars.
First off, it’s an amazingly rare opportunity for Boyega and Ridley to be able to sit in on a John Williams session, and it’s extremely nice to see these young stars so excited that they had this chance to share such a moment. Also, it’s encouraging to hear that Williams is creating all new music for The Force Awakens, to go along with the original scores that we’ve all come to know and love. John Boyega is simply a delightful bloke, and I for one and glad he’s a member of the Star Wars family.
That’s not the only bit of Star Wars news from Boyega today, as he tweeted out this little cryptic message via his personal Twitter account:
Hmmmm…I wonder what he could have in store for Star Wars fans? Since we are in the final month before the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, literally anything is possible. The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 17, and will open worldwide on December 18.

Finally, can someone at Disney put Orlando Bloom in a Star Wars film? I mean, the guy would clearly make a perfect Jedi Knight, he has the skills for it, and since he’s already done Pirates of the Caribbean, he’s got his Disney acting credentials. I mean…just look at that interview with ET. Orlando Bloom deserves some work outside the Tolkien universe…make it happen Disney, please?
