By Elaine Tveit
SPOILER ALERT: Harrison Ford tweets about a big scene from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Proceed with caution.
During the Twitter Awakens Q&A with the cast of The Force Awakens this evening, Harrison Ford tweeted about a big scene from the movie. Many consider this tweet to be too spoilery, so if you want to avoid spoilers, please do not read any further. But if you’re game for a little preview of the awesomeness to come on December 17th, continue on.
Harrison’s tweet is pasted below.
At first I didn’t catch what was so spoilery about this tweet… until I realized he said “the sword fight with Rey and [Kylo] Ren.”

At this point, my mind immediately turns to the theory that Rey and Kylo are somehow related. “Fantastic visual storytelling” seems synonymous with an emotional center point, like a battle between relations. Of course, there is still the possibility they’re not related at all, and that the duel is important for a different reason. But it’s something to think about.
Personally, I don’t find this revelation too surprising. It was likely to happen at some point, with the way things were building and how Rey is in the same location with Finn and Kylo when the latter two begin their duel. Now, it’s just one more thing to look forward to.
