Although you’ll have to wait until April 5th to get to the full length “Secrets of Star Wars: The Force Awakens” extras on the Blu-ray release of the film, ABC has released a sneak peek of what we can expect to see…
Thanks to the Disney owned ABC, we have been gifted with a sneak peek at “Star Wars: Secrets of The Force Awakens” from the Blu-ray release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on April 5th, or if you are so inclined, April 1st for digital download. At just over two minutes, the mini-teaser is full of fun looks into what went into making one of the most successful films of all time. Check it out:
I love how they show the screen-tests for the actors, like John Boyega. That scene with him and Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron — during the big rescue — was what cemented their bromance and started the hilarious banter between the two, as well as the great chemistry between the actors and their characters.
I am also very much looking forward to the Harrison Ford commentary about his final scene — not only in The Force Awakens — but in the Star Wars franchise (alive, at least). To listen to Ford and Driver talk about that dramatic and tense scene, will be worth the price of the Blu-ray, alone, in my opinion, let alone getting the benefit of watching The Force Awakens. It almost feel like the film is the bonus feature.

With Gwendoline Christie and Adam Driver talking about their character’s costumes and how they prepared for their scenes, it looks like the bonus feature for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Blu-ray will be well worth it. April 5th can’t get here fast enough.
