Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Tsum Tsums Coming April 5th

Disney’s tsum tsum plushes are transforming Star Wars: The Phantom Menace characters on April 5th.
Jar Jar Binks has never been this cute. Even Darth Maul is adorable in tsum tsum form. Check out the entire Star Wars: The Phantom Menace tsum tsum collection, coming April 5th to Disney Stores.
On February 16th, Disney debuted their original trilogy line of tsum tsums, which included favorites like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and even Boba Fett.
In the official announcement for the original trilogy collection on Yahoo, the Disney company implied that a The Force Awakens-inspired collection is also on the way. You’ll soon be able to get BB-8, Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, and, bizarrely enough, Snoke as cute and cuddly tsum tsums.

I have a tsum tsum myself, though it’s not Star Wars-related (okay, it’s Marie from Disney’s The Aristocats), and I can attest that tsum tsums are both irresistible and easy to collect. Each of the mini characters only costs $5.95 or less, while the bigger, pillow-like plushes range from $12.95 for the medium sizes and $24.95 for the larges. I prefer the minis, however, because they don’t take up as much space. Plus, their small sizes just makes them so much more fun to hold and cute to look at.
My personal favorite The Phantom Menace tsum tsum is Obi Wan Kenobi; his Padawan hair is just so fuzzy it makes me want to ruffle my finger through it (yes, I’m weird). Quite frankly, though, they’re all adorable. Imagine holding that little Darth Maul in your hand. It’s almost like a newborn kitten or puppy: cute, palm-sized, and expert at worming its way into your heart.
