Star Wars Force Friday coming September 1, 2017
It’s official, Star Wars Force Friday is back, and this time the event will be held on September 1, 2017….
StarWars.com has just announced that Force Friday (Episode II) will be taking place on September 1, this year, and the site revealed a first look at a toy package with the images of Rey (Daisy Ridley), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), and Finn (John Boyega). Check it out:

Disney/Lucasfilm announced that Star Wars Force Friday Episode II will celebrate the launch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi merchandise. This will include:
- Toys
- Collectibles
- Books,
- Clothing/Apparel
- And much, much more.
The Force Friday Episode II sale will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017, with stores across the globe participating in a weekend-long celebration of everything Star Wars. Chairman of Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, Jimmy Pitaro, had this to say:
"“The first Star Wars Force Friday event was truly unique, uniting fans across five continents in an unprecedented global live unboxing event ahead of thousands of midnight openings at retail. We’re excited to confirm that Star Wars Force Friday is back for The Last Jedi. Plans for this year’s worldwide event are top secret, but expect something befitting the excitement around the next episode of the Star Wars saga.”"
So what are you hoping to pick up on Force Friday Episode II? How about an Old Master Jedi Luke Skywalker? Or, how about Jedi Padawan Rey? What about all the amazing offerings from Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series that I’m sure we’re going to see by then?

September 1, 2017, is going to be an exciting time, and with Star Wars Celebration in April, and San Diego Comic-Con in the summer, plus D23, I’m sure we will see the line of Star Wars merchandise that will be available on Force Friday.
