Disney Parks released a video showing two life-sized AT-AT’s (All Terrain Armored Transports) under construction for Star Wars Land at Disneyland and Disney World.

The Empire’s presence is shaping up at Disneyland and Disney World’s Star Wars Land construction sites.

Yesterday, the official Disney Parks website released a video showing the construction progress of two life-size AT-ATs. AT-AT stands for “All Terrain Armored Transport” and is one of the most iconic vehicles in Star Wars.

Watch the video below to see the current state of the AT-ATs construction and also glimpse what they will look like when they’re finished.

Disney hasn’t revealed if the AT-ATs will accommodate guests or if the vehicles are just for show. But what a show! Star Wars Land will truly feel like the galaxy far, far away with props as big as these.

In February, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced Star Wars Land parks in Disneyland and Walt Disney World are slated for completion by 2019. The plans for Star Wars Land include immersive rides and locations, like the Millennium Falcon and the Cantina from A New Hope. Characters and possibly droids from the saga will roam the parks, interacting with guests. There is also a rumor that Disney is working on a lightsaber/laser deflection system for Star Wars Land guests to use to feel like real Jedi and Sith.

Perhaps not coincidentally, 2019 is also the year the next Star Wars Celebration is scheduled for after this year’s Celebration in Orlando, FL. Also in 2019, the ninth Star Wars Episode and final installment of the sequel trilogy premieres in theaters. It’s going to be a year to remember, so mark your calendars.
