Do not miss the 40th Anniversary panel at the 2017 Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, cautions the Star Wars Show….

On this week’s episode of The Star Wars Show, hosts Andi Gutierrez and Anthony Carboni made a rather interesting warning to viewers, telling them in no uncertain terms not to miss the 40th Anniversary Panel at the Star Wars Celebration in Orlando. Also not to be missed, will be the Star Wars: The Last Jedi panel.

Since the panel’s announcement, Star Wars fans have been anxiously awaiting a hopeful first look at The Last Jedi’s first teaser trailer. And, since Lucasfilm has yet to release any promotional material for the film, it’s a safe bet that it might very well happen then.

There’s also another component to all the hullabaloo surrounding this panel, and The Star Wars Show’s warning not to miss it. For a few weeks now, rumors have been spreading that Lucasfilm might announce its third Star Wars standalone film’s title as Obi-Wan, and if it does, Ewan McGregor will be on hand to do the honors. If that happens, what better way than to capture the momentum of The Last Jedi audience’s excitement, then with Luke’s former Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi?

More from Dork Side of the Force

Obviously, this is all purely speculation, but there is one more added bonus to mull over. Hayden Christensen will be making an extremely rare appearance at Star Wars Celebration, and will be sitting in at the 40th Celebration panel. What if Lucasfilm announced that Christensen was, in fact, appearing in The Last Jedi as a Force Ghost? Or, conversely, in the Obi-Wan standalone film as a flashback? Something to think about, no?

Regardless, The Last Jedi panel is surely a can’t miss, and StarWars.com will be live-streaming the entire thing. And, Dork Side of the Force will be recapping the whole event, as soon as it all unfolds. So, stay tuned!
