Finn himself, John Boyega, shocked the panel with a surprise appearance of his own. Boyega was seen playing the actual game! In a previous tweet, Boyega addressed the need for better gameplay than its predecessor Battlefront.
If that wasn’t enough, the prototype to an actual game of Dejarik( holo-chess) was shown. We first saw Dejarik in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
This is the first time that Star Wars fans will get a chance to play an official version of the actual space-game!
Disney and Levano also announced the development of Jedi Challenges, a virtual reality interactive game.
It features an AR headset, allowing access to items such as the before mentioned Dejarik, lightsabers, Star Wars battles, and more. Smartphone capabilities to play the game will also be available.
Star Wars Battlefront II is projected to drop in stores November 17, 2017, and you can pre-order that now. Meanwhile, Jedi Challenges does not have a set release date, yet.
