Andy Serkis, who plays the role of Supreme Leader Snoke, reveals if he and Carrie Fisher will have a scene in the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

With post-production for Star Wars: The Last Jedi recently completed, it means the official cinematic trailer is within our grasp. Will we see Snoke in the trailer or is Lucasfilm keeping the mysterious First Order leader in the shadows until December?

In a recent interview with the UK’s The List, Andy Serkis discussed Carrie Fisher, and his role in the upcoming The Last Jedi.

"I had no scenes with Carrie but I did get to know her a little bit. She was an incredible human being with a wonderful personality and she’s sadly, sadly missed and everyone who came into contact with her was really touched by her great energy and great sense of humor."

Personally, I was hoping for an epic Snoke vs. Leia showdown or even both Skywalker siblings going at it against this Dark Side menace, but I have faith that Lucasfilm and its writers have something special up their sleeve for Snoke within the Star Wars universe.

Serkis did film scenes with the same two characters he did in The Force Awakens.

"I did have a great time working with the cast and Adam Driver and Domhnall Gleeson, we’ve had some really great times on it."

The Force Awakens ends with Snoke instructing General Hux to bring Kylo Ren to him, in order to complete his Dark Side training, which we are most likely to see on screen in The Last Jedi.

Rian Johnson — writer and director for The Last Jedi — also chimed in on the wonderful Carrie Fisher and what Leia will have in store for us in the upcoming film:

"I hope it emotionally gives some kind of catharsis… some kind of emotional satisfaction… It will mean a lot to people."

Along with my Star Wars cosplay, I’m bringing several boxes of tissue in preparation, that’s for sure. Star Wars: The Last Jedi drops in theaters on December 15, where we will see the fearsome Snoke in action.
