A new generation

Episode VII, “There has been an awakening, have you felt it?” The Force Awakens was Lucasfilm/Disney’s very successful attempt at bringing Star Wars back to the big screen for the first time in over 10 years. This awakening is obviously the start of Rey’s heroine journey in becoming a Jedi and finding her place within this universe.

Of course The Last Jedi, Episode VIII, has maybe the coolest title ever, which we may grow to love even more once we learn more details on the film itself. Nevertheless, it’s way cooler and creative than Solo: A Star Wars Story, that’s for sure!

The first standalone, Rogue One: A Star Wars story was a brilliant and perfect title for the film. The film also delivered, hopefully setting the tone for the rest of the anthology style films from here on out. As the next couple of Star Wars movies come out, hopefully we will be able to see the depth of movie titles get even deeper, and not shallow like Solo.

Next: Possible villains for Solo: A Star Wars Story

If I were to pick the title for Solo, I would have gone with just that — Han Solo. I also would have either made the “L” in Solo look like the DL-44 Han carries alongside him, while making the “A” in Han look like the Falcon, or maybe both if it looked aesthetically good.
