In the meantime, you can now play the updated game on XBox One, which will satisfy your KOTOR fix.

More from Dork Side of the Force

What does this mean going forward for Knights of the Old Republic content? Are we getting a new novel? Video game? Or better yet, a TV show or full-length feature film?

My gut tells me yes, with Star Wars Rebels being the launching point in season four, with the Kanan and Ezra now on Yavin IV. The ancient Massassi Temple has deep and dark connections with the Dark Side of the force, which the two are likely to explore.

My prediction is that we will get an announcement for new KOTOR content within the next year. The demand is too high not to dive into that era finally.

The release of The Last Jedi is the only thing holding it back, with ancient lore likely to be explored in great detail during the film. Once the happens, the floodgates will burst wide open for KOTOR material.
