Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters worldwide on December 15. “Darkness rises, with light to meet it.” On the Dark Side, you have foes such as Snoke, Kylo Ren, and General Hux, who are no doubt afraid of a possible return of Luke Skywalker.
Countering on the Light Side of things is Rey, Finn, Poe, Leia, and hopefully Luke’s restoration to hero status.
Recently, another all-new television spot for the upcoming film aired, featuring our favorite scavenger, Rey.
Kicking things off, we see a familiar shot of Rey practicing her lightsaber skills, but this time, from a different angle.
Another shot reveals the Skywalker lightsaber in Rey’s travel bag — no doubt raising more questions than answers.
Did Luke give her the classic weapon back, after refusing to train her? Or, does Luke still have the famous green-blade first shown in Return of the Jedi, not needing it?
We also receive new dialogue from Finn, who seems to have a renewed sense of hope and determination.
"I was raised to fight. For the first time, I had something to fight for."
Another quick shot of Leia — Rest in Peace Princess — hints that she will play a large role in The Last Jedi. We hope they send you off in epic fashion, Carrie.
Epic space battles and combat shots have filled every trailer and tv spot to date, hinting this film will be action-packed, to go with the depth that writer and director Rian Johnson is sure to bring.

With the galaxy once again in turmoil and with the First Order on to rise to power, General Leia and her Resistance are all that stands against Supreme Leader Snoke and evil. Luke Skywalker may hold the key to defeating him, if only Rey can convince him into action.
