Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Rey taps into the Dark Side with a warning from Luke in the latest TV spot.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters worldwide on December 15, which will be here just weeks from now. Let that sink in.
In the meantime, Lucasfilm and Disney keep blessing us with TV Spots, with more and more new footage as we go along.
The latest TV spot may be the most revealing yet, where we get a heavy dose of Rey, Luke Skywalker, and the Force.
Luke: Breath. Now reach out. What do you see?
Rey: Light. Darkness. And, something else. It’s calling me.
Luke: Resist it, Rey! REY!!
What in the Force?! Rey seems to be having a Luke-like The Empire Strikes Back type vision through the Force.
She gets a glimpse of the Light Side. Dark Side. And, something else? What could that be? It has to be Snoke, who no doubt has more layers than we could possibly imagine.
Tying in all the footage we’ve seen thus far with these new goodies, Rey may be tempted by the Dark Side more than we originally thought. She promises to not fail Luke Skywalker, like Ben Solo did in the past, but is here overconfidence her weakness?
I cannot wait to find out, with The Last Jedi projected to take us to places in a galaxy far, far away we’ve never been to before.
