Actor Christian Bale was almost in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and would like to be in a future Star Wars film…
Veteran actor Christian Bale has quite a long and impressive list of films under his belt. While Bale has certainly done a wide variety of films in multiple genres, he is probably most well-known for his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy.
With such an impressive resume, Bale could probably pick and choose any role he likes, which leads us to his interest in being part of the Star Wars cinematic universe. According to Joblo.com, Bale revealed he was almost in Solo: A Star Wars Story, in a recent episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, and that he would like to be in a future Star Wars film.
"Yes, [it was] very tempting. I not only love the films going back to my childhood but also have a very long relationship with Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall because they did Empire of the Sun many years back. There was discussion, [and] I hope there will be future discussions.More from Dork Side of the ForceDaniel José Older named a High Republic Adventures character after someone specialHow animation changed Star Wars: Ewoks and DroidsKelleran Beq comes to Star Wars: Galaxy of HeroesThe Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal becomes No. 1 on IMDb’s Starmeter for 2023Unwrapping the Star Wars LEGO Advent Calendar: Day 7"
Yeah, I’m going to go ahead and start the “Christian Bale for Revan” campaign because I would absolutely love to see him in a Star Wars film. The Last Jedi greatly benefitted from performances from “A-list” actors like Laura Dern (Admiral Holdo) and Benicio Del Toro (D.J.), and having Christian Bale in a future movie would serve the purpose.
As it turns out, this isn’t just a passing fancy on Bale’s part, as he also revealed he is, in fact, a “huge fan,” that he still has his Millennium Falcon and AT-AT toys he collected as a child. Bale has also passed his love of Star Wars down to his daughter, who, as it turns out, has a great interest in being part of the Dark Side.
"Her first love was Darth Vader. She absolutely adored Darth Maul. [She] stood near him at Disneyland and he growled and he’s got those teeth and he stayed in character, really wonderful performance, and she was teeny and I thought, ‘This is gonna scare the crap out of her, this is such a bad idea.’ And then she stopped and she said, ‘Daddy, I’m in love."

Well, it certainly appears as if Bale is a great father and raised his daughter the right way. We don’t know if or when Christian Bale will be in a Star Wars film, but all we’re saying is Bale as Revan would be an excellent idea we would fully support. Make it happen, Lucasfilm.
