Now, the new footage picks up. Are you ready?! Star Wars Rebels footage from the final seven episodes in full-effect.

"Kanan: Let’s go get Hera"

It’s no secret that the Ghost crew will rescue Hera, who survives until after the events of Return of the Jedi. But, will Kanan survive the ordeal? It’s highly unlikely, with the Jedi’s fire gone from the galaxy come the events of A New Hope.

"Hera: You’re in terrible trouble."

Kanan is not messing around or taking into consideration the safety of his enemies — as he shows in the past. He’s rescuing the love of his life, and all bets are off. Any Imperial who stand in his way will no longer be left standing. It’s go-time.

"Ezra: Hey, I’ve seen you before."

The first hint that we will indeed see Ahsoka Tano again, with the convor having significant connections to her. Going back to the day of the Clone Wars, Ahsoka, Anakin Skywalker, and Obi-Wan journey to the world of Mortis, encountering a trio of strange Force wielders: the Father, the Son, and the Daughter. Ahsoka dies in this Force vision — which we are still unsure if it happened or not — and is revived back to life by the Daughter, who sacrifices herself doing such heroic act.

The convor bird from Star Wars Rebels symbolizes the Daughter, and now Ahsoka Tano. Ashley Eckstein also told us in our recent interview that we will see Ahsoka again — in one way or another. It’s unlikely she survived her encounter with Darth Vader so that the Force will bring her back, in some creative way.

"Hera: I have to tell you something. I hate your hair."

Kanan’s new hairstyle is reminiscent of his time as a Jedi Padawan when he was known as Caleb Dume. Is this symbolism of Kanan completing his Jedi journey, becoming one with the Force? Either way, we miss his Jedi-cowboy look and the groovy ponytail.

"Zeb: Let’s go, Rebels."

Hondo Ohnaka, the wild-card Pirate, is back. Is he finally a member of the Rebel Alliance? Also, we see Governor Ryder, Mart, and others fully immersed in the cause now. No more wavering in the middle, it’s time to choose sides — the Empire or the Rebel Alliance.

This image of Rex likely confirms that Rex is indeed the commando at the end of Return of the Jedi. This means that Rex teams up with Han Solo, Leia, and Chewbacca on the forest moon of Endor. If you look closely, his clone compadres, Gregor and Wolffe are out of retirement, joining the Rebel cause.
