A load of news and nifty images dropped for Solo: A Star Wars Story in recent days. Dork Side of the Force is your one-stop shop for all that is new with the upcoming Star Wars film!
Solo: A Star Wars Story is now 34 days away (who’s counting?) with the film reaching a fever pitch of anticipation. One reason for that is all of the promotional goodies which continue to come our way, and we are not complaining one bit!
Off the bat, Star Wars: The Last Jedi will keep its place as the longest Star Wars film, with the runtime for Solo: A Star Wars Story recently surfacing. The entirety of the movie running 2 hours and fifteen minutes, according to the Cannes Film Festival website.
Speaking of which, the world-premiere for Solo: A Star Wars Story will drop in Cannes, France at the Cannes Film Festival on May 15, 2018. If you want to go into the movie 100 percent spoiler-free, it’s best to go “dark” and stay off of Social media starting that very day. You can’t say we didn’t warn you!
Per tradition, Clint Howard, Ron Howard’s brother’s involvement was confirmed a while back, but we now have more details on his involvement. Ron Howard is staying active on social media promoting the film, with his most recent reveal of his brother Clint’s look for the film.
Clint Howard has made cameos or had small parts in every one of Ron Howard’s films or television shows to date, and now he’ll be apart of a galaxy far, far away. Oh, what fun!

Empire magazine was also gracious enough to provide us with insider details on the Kessel Run and Han Solo’s legend involving that very planet.
They even provided us more details on the film’s villain and (likely) the foil of Han Solo in Dryden Vos.
