Solo: A Star Wars Story: Will Qi’ra betray Han Solo?
We may have gotten some hints about the relationship between Han Solo and Qi’ra in Solo: A Star Wars Story…
Emilia Clarke’s character, Qi’ra, in Solo: A Star Wars Story is shrouded in mystery. We’ve gotten bits and pieces of her story from action figure descriptions, books descriptions on Amazon, and a few hints here and there in the trailers and TV Spots. Yet, we still know so little about who she really is and what role she will play in the formation of the Han Solo that we see in the original trilogy.
There is obviously some romantic tension between Qi’ra and Han Solo. Obviously, it doesn’t work out since he is definitely single and ready to mingle in the original trilogy. The love of his life is obviously Princess Leia, so where does Qi’ra fit into all of this?
So, if Qi’ra and Han have a romantic triste, what happens between them? Is it possible that she betrays him? A Twitter user has taken some still shots from the Solo: A Star Wars Story trailer which might shed some on the mysterious relationship between the two smugglers.
The first shot is of Qi’ra emerging from a spacecraft with Han walking out behind her. She looks very regal in her crisp collared jacket and cape. The second picture is of Han wear some sort of collar that would indicate he has been taken prisoner.
Now, if you look really closely at that first picture of Qi’Ra with Han in the background, it looks like you can sort of see the outline of the collar on his neck.
Is it possible that Qi’ra betrays Han and turns him over to the Empire? Is she perhaps a double agent? That could explain that these two characters part ways after the events in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Of course, at this point, it’s all speculation, but it would certainly make for an interesting twist in the film and it would explain a lot of Han’s hang-ups.
