Star Wars: Episode IX: John Boyega’s tweet has the galaxy atwitter!

In a recent tweet, John Boyega drops a hint that has the Star Wars universe all atwitter about the upcoming Star Wars: Episode IX film…

So much about Star Wars: Episode IX is shrouded in mystery. What we do know about it is that JJ Abrams will once again be taking the helm of the Star Wars ship. For those who hated Star Wars: The Last Jedi, this change in directors comes as a reprieve.

Regardless of how you feel about the last film though, we are all, I’m sure, excited to see how this saga comes to a close. There are so many questions left unanswered and so many theories floating around in the Star Wars universe.

More from Dork Side of the Force

We all want to know what’s going to happen to Poe, Finn, and Rey. Will Kylo come back to the light? How will they resolve Leia’s character after Carrie Fisher’s untimely passing?

So, naturally, when John Boyega sent out a cryptic tweet suggestion that production has begun on Star Wars: Episode IX, everyone freaked out, including us here at Dork Side.

Rumor has it that we will see a jump in time in this next film. John Boyega mentioned previously that he is growing his hair out for this coming Star Wars installment. Pictures of his new haircut are also a point of interest in the galaxy as people are speculating that we are seeing future Finn’s haircut!

Well, hopefully, we will get more concrete information soon. Who knows, maybe people involved with Star Wars: Episode IX will start leaking new from the set sometime soon. Please, feed our poor hungry Star Wars loving souls!
