Another week, another chance to pick up new Star Wars comics.

Every week, new comics hit the shelves digging into new characters or enjoying time with some old friends. This week, there are a number of new Star Wars comics to hit the shelves, including the newest Darth Vader title.

Let’s take a look at the new Star Wars comics coming out July 11, 2018, and hit up your favorite comic book store to get your copies.

Darth Vader #18

This Darth Vader comic, which began in 2017, sees the return of an old foe. Grand Moff Tarkin is on Vader’s trail looking to exact some revenge.

Marvel Comics, which distributes the Star Wars comics, describes the plot as:

"It is time for GRAND MOFF TARKIN to repay a long-standing debt to DARTH VADER……and settling what is owed will require every last bit of his cunning, and will cost more than he ever imagined."

Star Wars Thrawn #6

The final installment of Star Wars Thrawn comes out, which completes the comic version of the Thrawn novel. The second book Thrawn: Alliances comes out at the end of July, so it makes sense to wrap up the story now.

But in case you haven’t read the book, and have been sticking to the comics, here’s your chance to complete story as it follows Thrawn, Eli and Pryce.

Star Wars Doctor Aphra TPB Vol. 3

If you’re a fan of the Doctor Aphra comic series, the TPB Vol. 3 Remastered is out this week. It features issues 14-19 from the series. Doctor Aphra is an interesting character who finds herself on the wrong side of the Rebellion. Keep up with Doctor Aphra as she toes the line and causes mayhem wherever she goes.

Star Wars Rogue One Adaptation HC

The hardcover version of the Star Wars Rogue One adaptation also comes out this week. There is a new story in this edition, which features the meeting between Cassian & K-2SO. Marvel Comics describes their meeting as “ill-tempered.”
