San Diego Comic-Con: What Star Wars panels will be at this year’s SDCC?

San Diego Comic-Con is known for the amazing cosplay, cool collectibles, and a chance to get breaking news. While Star Wars doesn’t have a ton of panels – and no big trailers to release – it will still have a presence for those wanting to learn more about the brand.

Star Wars will be part of five panels during the week at San Diego Comic-Con, starting Thursday. The panels range from the 10th anniversary of Star Wars: The Clone Wars to fashion.

Thursday

Celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Star Wars: The Clone Wars 11:45 a.m. -12:45 p.m. PT

This is going to be one of the most popular panels for Star Wars fans. It will feature mastermind Dave Filoni as well as voice actors Matt Lanter and Ashley Eckstein. The teases by some of the actors have made this feel like a can’t-miss panel, as though a surprise is on the way for fans of The Clone Wars.

Either way, this show is a fan favorite with a panel Star Wars fans won’t want to miss even if it’s just a chance to catch up with some old friends.

Friday

Star Wars Collectibles Panel, 11 a.m. – noon

This is always a fun panel featuring upcoming collectibles, but also a chance for those in attendance to win prizes. According to StarWars.com, representatives Anovos, Bandai, eFX, Gentle Giant Studios Sideshow Collectibles and more will be on hand.

Plus, a special guest! Who could it be?

Behind the Design: Star Wars Fashion Collaborations Noon-1 p.m.

This is a look at some the best collaborations Star Wars has had in the business, checking out the developmental and design process. Star Wars certainly offers more than just t-shirts. Get a look at what it takes to design Star Wars apparel.

Hasbro Star Wars 1 p.m.-2 p.m.

Star Wars fans will get an in-depth look at Hasbro’s Star Wars figurines. But it doesn’t seem they are just going to re-hash what is out there. According to StarWars.com, there are some surprises in store.
