Filming for Star Wars: Episode IX is underway and a new leak has suggested a scene involving the Knights of Ren is about to take place and it may explain their absence in The Last Jedi.

One of the biggest questions Star Wars fans have been asking is if we are going to see the Knights of Ren materialize anytime soon. Fans could be getting their wish in Star Wars: Episode IX as a filming leak has suggested a scene involving the Knights of Ren may be about to take place.

Ever since we saw them in Star Wars: The Force Awakens our interest has been peaked. However their absence in Star War: The Last Jedi was duly noted and quite hard to swallow, even for those of us who really enjoyed the movie.

According to the Express Star Wars: Episode IX may be about to save the day as a scene involving Adam Driver and a group of actors aged between 21 – 27 is going to be taking place in October.

They have been practicing with various different weapons and the scene is said to involving a lot of action stunts, mini explosions, and green screens. This has added up to them being certain that this is the Knights of Ren.

And if so, hurray!

However, what is much more interesting is how this may go hand-in-hand with a plot leak from back in May, explaining the Knights of Ren will be hunting down Force sensitives. We got a glimpse of a young boy who is Force sensitive at the end of The Last Jedi so this hardly a stretch of the imagination.

With that plot leak, plus the new one put together, an interesting idea has arisen. The idea being that we were never going to see the Knights of Ren in The Last Jedi because the vision Rey had was of events to come, not events that previously happened.

Her vision was not of Kylo and the Knights of Ren destroying Luke’s temple or anything like that, but hunting down everyone who is Force sensitive and poses a threat to them.

It’s only a theory, but one that could explain the missing Knights during The Last Jedi. J.J. Abrams had explained he didn’t want to waste them by just throwing them in, but maybe this was the idea all along.
